NSS Conference Webinar Series "Making ADS-B Work" has lift off
The NSS Conference Webinar Series “Making ADS-B Work” successfully kicked off on Tues 03 Nov with over 60 attendees logging in to hear Dan Hicok of the FAA give a US perspective on the lessons learned from their transition to ADS-B. Dan had a flurry of questions fired at him, showcasing the interest in his presentation and of ADS-B in New Zealand.
Director NSS Steve Smyth said "Dan Hicok of the FAA made history today by being the first presenter at a New Southern Sky Virtual conference….and what a good job he made of it. My thanks to Dan for explaining the US road to ADS-B capability, the benefits and the challenges. The way Dan answered questions was fantastic – our thanks to him for being so honest and informative. A very impressive speaker to start our Webinar series."
Tomorrow, Wednesday (04 Nov), sees Andrew Andersen presenting an Australian perspective on their transition to ADS-B before the CAA's Tom Gormley gives the closing presentation of the series on Thursday (05 Nov) when he will speak about New Zealand’s Transition and the ADS-B Grant Scheme.
